Animals have been part of Cassie’s life from the very beginning. Growing up surrounded by pets and spending decades working with horses and ponies, she has always felt most at home caring for animals. Her deep love for her miniature schnauzers inspired her to create a small, calm, home‑from‑home service where dogs can settle, relax, and feel genuinely cared for.

Cassie founded her first pet‑care business in 2015 and has been a licensed home boarder with East Devon District Council ever since. Today, she runs Sunflower Cottage Pet Care from her cosy cottage in Woodbury, offering trusted care for small dogs, as well as cats, horses, alpacas, and chickens. Her long background with horses and ponies gives her a confident, practical approach to handling animals of all temperaments.

She is fully insured, DBS checked, and committed to ongoing professional development. Cassie regularly updates her Animal First Aid, attends training and agility classes with her own dog, and continues her learning in canine behaviour, welfare, enrichment, and home‑boarding best practice.
